The Engagement

Mattie and Matthew first crossed paths in 2021 as students at The University of Tennessee. They were set up on a blind date by Caroline, one of Mattie's bridesmaids! Since then, they’ve shared a beautiful journey together over the past 3+ years.

One of the things that has always connected them is their mutual love for spending time on the lake, a place where both spent a lot of time growing up.

Understanding it’s significance to them, Matthew chose the perfect spot to propose—a hill overlooking Norris Lake in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Now, as they look forward to beginning the next chapter of their lives together, they can’t wait to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends!
